College Place

A superb selection of fourteen brand new, contemporary, family homes in the heart of Uckfield.

College Place is a new development of 14 superb family homes, from local home builders, JW Stratton, situated in the heart of Uckfield in East Sussex. Nestled on the southern edge of the Weald, this attractive market town is particularly well appointed. The town centre offers a wide variety of shops, cafés, restaurants and leisure facilities, all within a short distance of the new homes at College Place.

From independent boutiques to national retailers, gymnasiums, supermarkets, recreation grounds and excellent schools and colleges, Uckfield provides its residents with every modern amenity, whilst retaining much of its historical appeal and an architectural charm. The Picture House cinema in the High Street, for example, is currently celebrating its centenary year and work is ongoing to fully restore a medieval Wealden hall house, built in 1436.

Location & Surroundings

At the centre of the town centre, next to the River Uck, sits Uckfield mainline train station with its direct links to London Bridge and beyond. Being a terminus station, you can enjoy the benefits of
beginning your journey from the start of the line, with a better than average chance of getting a seat for the 80 minute commute into the city.

Excellent road and rail links make travel a breeze and with so much to do in the surrounding area you’ll be spoilt for choice. From a trip on the Bluebell Steam Railway to a family day out at Drusillas Park zoo, a leisurely stroll in acres of
beautiful countryside or a tasting at one of the local vineyards, there’s no shortage of attractions to amuse and divert.

Further afield you will find the historic towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells, with its plethora of excellent shops and restaurants (18 miles north), and Lewes (10 miles south) which, among other attributes, is famous for its extravagant Bonfire Night displays. Or travel to the coastal resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne (both 20 miles south) to enjoy some time beside the seaside.
